One ​​of the main structural areas of Nakhchivan State University is the work and preparation center for foreign students. This center organizes preparatory courses for foreign citizens who start studying at the university, and at the same time deals with all the concerns and problems of foreign students studying at bachelor's, master's and doctorate levels in separate faculties. In preparatory courses, foreign students are taught the Azerbaijani language as well as basic subjects according to their chosen specialties. At the end of the preparatory course, students take a final exam. Those who pass the final exams are admitted to the first courses of their chosen specialties. The tuition fee varies depending on the level of education and specialty.
