Admission Rules

Admission rules and required documents.

Admission to the university is carried out in accordance with the "Rules for citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan to study in foreign countries, foreigners and stateless persons in the Republic of Azerbaijan", approved by the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated May 1, 2015 No. 125.

Foreign citizens must submit the documents required to study at Nakhchivan State University in electronic form on the portal.edu.az website. After the documents are reviewed by the relevant commission, the candidates are invited to a face-to-face interview.

For candidates applying from visa-required countries, the interview can be conducted online

The place and time of the interview is determined by the University, and the schedule containing information about it and the candidate's name, surname, and patronymic at least 3 days before the interview www.ndu.ed.az, or a letter is sent through the portal and e-mail.

The candidate participates in the interview by submitting an identity document or a document equivalent to it in accordance with the law.

15 (fifteen) minutes are allocated to each candidate.

A certificate of the interview result is sent to the candidate's e-mail address.

Evaluation criteria:

Language skills

Knowledge level- (theoretical knowledge of the specialty, general knowledge of the interview program, knowledge of information technologies)

Required documents for admission:

  • Certificate or diploma of the level of education completed;
  • Notarized copy(s) of the educational document(s) showing the subjects taken and the grades received in those subjects;
  • certificates about health and AIDS;
  • certificate of conviction
  • passport copy of passport,
  • biography;
  • 8 photos of 3×4 size.

Note:

  • A foreign student who received a bachelor's degree outside the Republic of Azerbaijan must confirm the equivalency of his diploma at the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan before submitting his documents to study at a master's degree. After that, he must submit his certified diploma and a notarized copy together with other documents required for admission to the bachelor's degree.
