The main scientific directions of the Institute of Bioresources (Nakhchivan)
The Institute of Bioresources of the Nakhchivan Branch of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, in accordance with the decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev dated August 07, 2002 "On the establishment of the Nakhchivan Branch of the Azerbaijan MEA, the biology chair of the Nakhchivan Regional Science Center and the Institute of Genetic Resources in Nakhchivan It was created on the basis of the Scientific-Research base. According to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated July 28, 2022, the Institute of Bioresources was subordinated to the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on additional measures related to the optimization of the activities of scientific institutions subordinated to the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and increasing the efficiency, based on the 32nd paragraph of Article 109 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in order to optimize the activities of scientific institutions subordinated to the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and to increase the efficiency of the Institute of Natural Resources (Nakhchivan), Institute of Bioresources (Nakhchivan), Batabat Astrophysics under the Ministry The observatory (Nakhchivan) is subordinated to Nakhchivan State University.
