The Translation Center of Nakhchivan State University is a structural unit operating within the university. The Statute of the Center was approved by NSU Rector Elbrus Isayev on September 6, 2023. Specialists of the Translation Center translate textbooks and teaching aids from English, French, German, Russian and other languages into Azerbaijani in order to further enrich the educational process at NSU with relevant literature. At the same time, one of the main tasks of the Center is to translate scientific, educational and administrative documents into foreign languages. The head of the Translation Center and translators ensure the preparation of the website of NSU in foreign languages and the translation of published news into foreign languages. The employees of the center also organize the translation of letters sent to and from NSU. This Center studies and promotes the holding of various conferences in the field of translation, the provision of cooperation with relevant international organizations and relevant institutions of foreign countries, and the international experience in accordance with the directions of activity. The head of the center and translators are appointed by the rector.
