Inclusive Education Center ensures that all students receive education according to their socio-cultural and individual characteristics, as well as their needs. In the center, the educational program, methods and materials are taught taking into account the individual characteristics, needs and interests of all students. Students' access to quality education and reduction of possible discrimination are the main goals of the center. Also, the center aims to develop students with special education needs and create a creative comprehensive training support system, educational and rehabilitation conditions. Specialists of the center prepare an individual education and rehabilitation program for students, provide comprehensive support to students and gradually adapt them to the educational process at the university. The duties of the Inclusive Education Center also include conducting consultations with the staff of deaneries and heads of departments on the issues of organizing and monitoring teaching and rehabilitation work with students who need special education.
The Inclusive Education Center has the following tasks:
-providing the right to receive high-quality higher education, freely choose a higher education institution and form of education;
- creation of special education, rehabilitation conditions and complex support system;
-protection and strengthening of moral, physical, mental and social health;
-encouraging the improvement of the quality of the educational process and acquisition of an effective profession;
-organization and holding of trainings, seminars, courses and webinars related to the education of students with special education needs;
- summarizing information about specialists who provide psychological-pedagogical and correctional-developmental services to children with special educational needs in educational institutions of the region;
- organization of information-education work aimed at increasing public awareness of students with special education needs, preventing their discrimination, forming a positive attitude towards such students and their parents;
-organization of interaction of the center with local executive authorities, state and non-state institutions operating in the field of medical and social rehabilitation, education and employment of persons with disabilities.
In the center, you will be able to get acquainted with the normative-legal and material-technical base for the education, upbringing, psychological and pedagogical support of students with special education needs. Also, the center will provide educational services for students with limited health opportunities in the region.
