About Us
The laboratory of beekeeping problems was created according to the Decision No. 3/03 of the meeting of the Scientific Council of Nakhchivan State University dated November 28, 2019 and the order of the Rector of NSU No. 0000000.
OUR PURPOSE
Our laboratory equipped with modern equipment operates under the Chair of Veterinary Medicine. At present, scientific and practical researches, diagnosis of bee diseases, examination of beekeeping products according to the relevant quality standards are carried out in the laboratory with professional young researchers and teaching staff in accordance with the training and curriculum of undergraduate and master's level students. These analyzes are listed in the following order:
• Determination of moisture content of honey
• Determination of organoleptic indicators of honey
• Pollen analyses
• Melinosomatic analyzes in honey and pollen
• Identification of bee races
• Determination of nosematosis
• Determination of varroatosis
• Determination of brauliosis
• Determination of acarapidosis
• Determination of wild bees is held.
Our goals
In the near future, suggestions and methodical recommendations will be made in the direction of improving the legislation on the safety of beekeeping products, and scientific and practical proposals on the production and processing of beekeeping products with new technologies will be prepared. Measures are also being taken to conduct research projects for master's and doctoral students.
OUR DUTIES
• To carry out scientific research;
• To organize international and national level conferences, symposia, seminars, webinars, round tables, trainings;
• To prepare and publish international and national level publications; to do;
• to ensure consideration of the applications and requests received in accordance with the law; • To perform other duties provided by legislation in accordance with the directions of activity.
